The 2.5FI-XP dispenses two separate fluids interchangeably, as the record automatically rotates during the scrub and vacuum cycles! The “Fi” stands for “fluid injection.” Here’s how the fluid injection system works: When you depress the pump, the machine automatically applies cleaning fluid across the record surface. Next, a microfiber-covered strip deep-cleans the grooves while the vacuum strip sucks the debris and polluted fluid away. A slide-out waste tray on the bottom allows easy spent fluid disposal.
