Nitty Gritty "Fi" models feature the world's easiest to use record cleaning system which automatically rotates the record, wets, scrubs, and finally vacuums away dust, dirt, grease, grime, and other unmentionables. The "Fi" stands for "fluid injection." Here's how the fluid injection system works: When you depress the pump, the machine automatically applies cleaning fluid across the record surface. Next, a felt-covered strip deep-cleans the grooves while the vacuum strip sucks the debris and polluted fluid away. A slide-out waste tray on the bottom allows easy spent fluid disposal. The 1.5Fi features oak vinyl cabinet sides; the 2.5Fi has real oak wood sides. Both the 1.5Fi and 2.5Fi cleaning packages come with cleaning machine, Nitty Gritty record cleaning solution, fluid applicator brush, and clear instructions.
